As I Learn

As I learn

I’ll share with you

The thorny rose

Still fresh with dew,

Where faeries weave

Their webs of thought

And sprinkle them

With words they’ve caught.

I’ll stand there listening

To the winds

And kiss the Spirits

Which they send.

The feathery touch

Of aerial ones.

Sweet muses of

The midnight sun,

Whispering words of

Softest wisdom,

Caressing us with

Gentle freedom.

I’ll share with you

All that I learn,

And then one day

Twill be your turn

To hold the rose

Still fresh with dew

Where faeries wait

For me and you.
