This is absolutely adorable. The only tip I can give you is to continue doing it. It is precious. I love it. I just saw Matt’s version and you did an outstanding job with it. Excellent work my friend. Please keep them coming.
Thanks Cheri, well you motivated me so I will try another drawing, glad you like it
You need no tips or guidance – this is incredible! The composition and placement is excellent and your technique rocks! Just keep ArTing!

Camera or pencils – you are a true artist Susanne…This is wonderful..
Thank you so very much schnuckems :), much appreciated
Great work for a second attempt. Tips? Well, what kind of pencils are you using? For myself.. the major one is Prismacolor.. then Faber-Castell, the Derwent.. and I have about 4 more types (Lyra, Koh-in-or and a couple of others that I don’t use a lot but keep them around because of certain colors). Like working on smooth paper.. but I’ll try anything once.. may your adventure fill you with the magic and joy that art brings!!
Thank you very much Barb, I had Prismacolor in my hand but decided to go a little cheaper since I did not know if I like drawing or if I can even do it so I went with the Dick Blick pencils but already know that Prismacolor is the way to go, I used Smooth Bristol 100lb since I have no idea what paper to use, I am a total beginner when it comes to drawing. I really appriciate your great tips and I just have to say I love your work and you are truly one of the best :)
I use Bristol also.. and Artagain (when you feel brave enough) in black is a wonderful way to go. Although I’ve learned that pencils work much better on a smooth surface, I’m willing to try anything at least once… and do try and have some fun with it..
Thank you so very much Barb for all of your great tip, I am the kind of person tht will try everything once also, lots of hugs Susanne
