Artist's Description

The Low Head lighthouse is just one part the Low Head Pilot Station whish is an historical precinct found in Georgetown on a peninsula at the mouth of the Tamar River. The lighthouse is the third oldest in Australia and the second oldest in Tasmania. If you want to explore this precinct you can extend your experience by staying in one of the old cottages. Perfect for viewing the local penguns that frequent the area.
