Artist's Description

New Holland Honeyeaters are very vocal and they love nothing better than the nectar that can be found on many of our Australian native plants such as this grevillea. Give them a shallow bird bath, safe from cats and with a nearby perch for them to sit on and watch them gather in number as they chirp and chatter way whilst they wait their turn for a quick dip on a warm summer day.

This one dropped in at my place for a little winter nectar between the bursts of rain and hail.
