Artist's Description

There are three emotions expressed by the white figures held in the yellow. The figure in the very front has her head down with her hair hanging in front of her. The girl behind her is looking up, the last figure looks straight ahead. The very first girl held in yellow whose head is hung low stands at the divide. Across from her is a large white figure held by black. The head of that figure could be a number of emotional expressions.

Who or what are the three girls? Who or what is the large white figure?

Those of us who have survived trauma, can we keep from cutting ourselves off from our emotions so as not to ever be hurt again?

Is my past the only obstacle keeping me divided?

Perhaps the three white figures could symbolize indecision. In all the lingering and procrastination, opportunities are lost as is time, which can never be recovered.
