This is a monochrome version of The Return Of 136. Though most image manipulating was done with that image, minor adjustments were made with this version…aside from the monochrome. My goal was to achieve a romanticist appearance of the original era it operated in.
136 operates in the Tottenham ON, Canada area as part of the South Simcoe Railway. It was built in 1883 by Canadian Pacific Railway and is the oldest operating steam locomotive in Canada. For more information, see the colour version mentioned on top.
As with the colour version, this was captured with my Nikon D80 and 70-300mm VR lens.
