Elements from various works by author Jules Verne are depicted here, created in sand. This view is but one face of this very large sand sculpture by artist Michel Lepire of Quebec, Canada.
It represents about 12% of the total sculpture. I have photos of each side/face and of the whole thing from different views, but when you back off that far a lot of the detail is lost. I see the Eiffel Tower, a train engine and a diver with a treasure chest as some of the larger items. This sculpture was one of about 25 entered in the competition. It didn’t win, but it was MY favorite. One heavy rain and all of this beautiful work will be gone.
This sand sculpture is the cover image for a calendar called Life Is ~ A Day At The Beach (click to view) ♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥
