Cades Cove is an isolated valley located in the Tennessee section of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, USA. The valley was home to numerous settlers before the formation of the national park.
On the 11 mile loop through Cades Cove there are many old structures. One of these is The Tipton Place, built in the 1880s by the descendants of Revolutionary War veteran William “Fighting Billy” Tipton.

Thunder is so loud in the mountains that even a brief storm can be frightening…. all part of mountain life!
Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned?
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Beautiful music, silly video… ☺
