Artist's Description

This garden gate is near the formal reflecting pond at Winterthur. Walkways meander through acres of naturalistic plantings designed by Mr. du Pont. On this autumn day, a soft misty rain has left everything a bit wet. ☺
Winterthur, an American country estate, is the former home of Henry Francis du Pont and his family. The home opened as a museum in 1951. It is located in Delaware, USA.

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT, Canon Zoom Lens EF-S 18-55mm.

Season: fall, November 24th.
Dedicated to stone masons who add beauty to our lives through their talent.
