Artist's Description

What a delight it is to spot one of these pretty little birds! They move so quickly that it’s easy to miss seeing them as they dart from one bloom to the next. One way to get them to pause long enough for a photo is to mix up a special blend of sugar and water and place it in a hummingbird feeder.

Adjusted in Corel Paint Shop Pro.
Canon PowerShot SX50 HS, Canon Zoom Lens 50x IS, 4.3-215.0mm 1:3.4-6.5 USM
Location: southeastern Connecticut (USA).
Season: spring, May 31st.
Dedicated to this little bird who stayed still long enough to get his picture taken.
