her face is a swirl of wonder and a swirl of sick
as the alcohol settles in the pit of her stomach.
you made a promise before you youre so suddenly violent
you left me here like you said you wouldnt.
im so lost
and i cant find you
i cant find you.
im smothered in fear
surrounded by shattered glass and broken mirrors.
ive been stripped of my innocence
being swallowed by the darkness.
im wailing and begging
but youre all blurred and fading.
lost lost lost lost.
i cant find you
youll never find you.
twinkle twinkle little star im wondering so…
where you are.
you must be up above the world so high
but all i see are diamonds all up in the sky.
my mother stepped on a crack and it broke my back.
the chains fall around your wrists,
now im a loner with a twist.
it was the last time i saw her face.
im lost and i wish i could find you
but ill never find you.

and all i saw was her face.

Artist's Description

i wrote this about kind of my bad childhood, my mom in this case.. but i wrote it in a childs point of view with the nursery rhymes and childish sayings versus the way i look at it today.. but in the end both of those feelings are the same..it still scares me just as much..this one is really powerful to me.
