Never lose your dreams

The call
Had been made
The Dreamers had gathered
All that could be heard
Was silence
Eyes downcast
Heads in hands
The sense of loss;
For the dreams had stopped,
Consumed them all…
Unimaginable
Inconceivable
Yet true
Hearts broke
Tears were shed
A great sadness
Entered the Land
The sun afraid
Hid behind the clouds
The moon and stars
Left the night
And all the creatures
Disappeared
A profound silence
Enveloped the Earth
Vacuous
The air and waters
Vanished
And the Mother no longer
Able to hold
Fell in on herself
Where once was great beauty
Is now a black hole
