The rendered heart

The ache…
So deep
No matter how
Much warmth
The lament is
Never quiet.
The heart’s cry
Sings of
Sorrows past
The body still
Cradles today…

And yet …
The breeze speaks of
Bird’s song
Of possibilities untold
And with it the
Joy of peace…

Does the heart
Dare mend
To let go of
Old hurts
And open to
Love again…

Artist's Description

a hurt so deep can break the heart and so make the body ail. It takes great courage to
trust and allow the heart to love when there’s be a great hurt and yet the irony is that by allowing love this may well heal the body too…
