The time is now

My eyes slowly
I stand
Arms outstretched
Face upturned
Bathed in her
Ghostly hue.
Toes deeply
Embedded in the
Soul of the Mother.
I push out…
The breeze
The sounds of a
Busy city all
Deeper still…
My chest
Feels as though to
Break apart.
My back arched
Hands splayed
Fingers like
Tendrils grasp all life.
And then the
Tide begins.
First like
Little waves of
They roll over me
Each one
Slightly stronger until
Building to such
Magnitude that every hair is ablaze
Blue current pulses
I am awash
With each heartbeat
Culminating in a
Violent wrench.
Molecules no longer held
The maelstrom that was I
Is finally free.
Perfect quiet
An eternal peace
I float amongst the stars.
The sense of
Self let go…

An eon passes and then
With no warning an
Eddy so fast
Gathers me up with such
Fury the
Cacophony of Nature’s
Jangling every
The heady perfume of
Jasmine an
Assault but enough to bring me
Slowly becoming
Aware that
I am
And alone again.
The connection broken but
Not severed.
With renewed energy I
Gather myself up to
Face the day
Cleansed and
Filled with hope.
Knowing that
There are no
That can not be
Once fear and
Logic are put

The time is now
