The continuum

She continued to worry at the knot
Though she had no longer any ability to unravel it
Her Mind could not let go of her predicament
Her fingers bloody to the bone only congealed the thread
Cementing it further out of her reach
Frustration boiled over
Lost time had consequence!
And it was now pooling at her feet
The earth’s crust; thirsty, soaked it fast
Leaving nothing to sustain her
No evidence of before
Not even viridian or dullard brown
Surrounded by a dust bowl
She slowly collapsed
In the matter of a heartbeat the crazed surface; desperate, absorbed her
No longer She and yet still Is
An amalgam occurred that gave rise to Hope
And in this very place now grows
The Tree Of Life…
