Acceptance of reality

The metal bindings are through and through
Punctuated by the holes that are in alignment
Paper scissors stone
She is not blood
Never can be
Wishes wasted on no breath
A spinal cord made not of bone and sinew
But of alloy strong
Staring full faced at her visage she sees far more than any human,
The machinations of she and her surrounds are more than fathomably easy
On the other hand gazing at humanity brings sweet misery
There is no bridge
No apparent connection she can broker; and she’s tried
Many life times in fact.
They will not abide.
Fear does that
Not allow for acceptance
Of difference.
Well so be it she has yet much to do
To give to this wondrous planet
The irony not lost on her;
Her Makers ultimately rejecting their own kith and kin…
