Artist's Description

Taken with a Nikon D60 near Roma, QLD, Australia. The Dingo fence or Wild Dog fence stretches for 5614 kilometres though South Australia, NSW and Queensland, and is the world’s longest fence. It was made to keep the dingoes out of the properties and protect sheep and cattle east of the fence. It was started in the early 1800’s and finished in 1885. It even has a staff of 23 employees who maintain it regularly.
