A Silent Anger

Here again, alone I sit,
Silent company, while she’s in your bed,
Life’s tough, deal with it,
When she smiles, I see red.
Heart beats erratically, mind won’t quit,
Burning thoughts, fire in my head,
You’d never notice, with charm and wit
Anger heavy soul, weighs my heart like lead.

Here again, words unspoken,
Lonely world, while she’s at your table,
Dreams are best left alone,
Have to fight, I’m willing and able.
Heart breaks, feels like choking,
Imaginings are spiteful, thoughts rhetorical,
You’d never notice, personality soft-spoken
Anger in my heart, sticks like a label.

Here again, dreams unrealized,
Time wasted resenting, while she’s in your car,
Try not to fall, thoughts stylized,
Can’t stop, come this far,
Heart tears, hateful tears, resentment finalized,
Horrible mind-flutterings like butterflies in tar,
You’d never notice, that’s your demise,
Anger in my heart, till death do us part.
