Artist's Description

The largest owl in North America, the Great Gray Owl (Strix nebulosa) is an impressive bird. Graceful, powerful and beautiful in both form and function, it is a single purpose killing machine. Surprisingly, it does not prey on large creatures. Its diet consists of voles, lemmings and other small rodents.
