Haiku, do you do?

The fire

upon the fire burn
Ashes strewn across the floor
Flames flicker brightly

Book of old

Dust of old fall down
The book upon the ground lay
And timeless stories anew

the Race

Faster and faster
The racing beat pounds aloud
My heart a thunder

The wind

Destine against all
Odds, come forth, foreshadowing
Blades of grass are broken

Love of doom or doom of love?

I’ll call thee by name
Great Shadow, the dooming love
You burn forth in me.

My drug of death

Death quick upon thee
Thy veins do burn with your fire
Be swift now and burn

Dancing at midnight

The night is still young
Moon, I’ll hold you to your light
And dance on your stage

Day, Gone

Fire from the heart, burns
the shadows of light reflect
The fleeting day, gone

Haiku, do you do?
