Artist's Description
The old ruins of the original Owen Springs Homestead have stood here since 1873 and was one of the first permanent structures built outside of the Alice Springs Telegraph Station itself built in 1871. I love visiting the ruins and on this occasion perfect lighting and scattered clouds made it all come together.
