Artist's Description

This was one of the most difficult shots I have ever done in photography. Sunset had already gone down and I had raced behind Ruby’s Inn at Bryce Canyon National Park and saw these clouds sweeping across the lake. I actually couldn’t see the orange shrub in front of me, it appeared dark green and the ducks were moving in a small circle. The temperature was 18 degrees and I was in a polo shirt and jeans and socks. I planted down my tripod and guessed at a 3 minute exposure and took one shot before I froze, all the time holding down my tripod because it was slipping on the slope. I was really happy that the blues came through at night on this. Photo was taken at Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah, USA at nightfall with Kodak Royal Gold 25 film. I love the colors :)

The name of this pond is called Lake Mini.
