Artist's Description

Image of the forward cockpit of a De Havilland DH-82A Tiger Moth aircraft. This particular aircraft, now registered as VH-UXD, was buit in Australia in 1944 and provided valuable service for the training of RAAF pilots towards the end of WW11. Some of the important notices in the cocpit include: Stalling – 40 knots, Climb – 58 knots, Cruising – 80 knots and VNE – 148 knots.
