Artist's Description

A Kapok tree, standing fifty metres high continues to grow from a seed dropped by a bird more than two hundred years ago. Its roots are insinuted between the joints of the sandstone blocks of the ancient Ta Prohm temple in Angkor, Cambodia.

This temple was constructed in the 11th Century AD by the Khmer people and today stands a monument to the architectural skills, religious beliefs and customs of this ancient Empire.

I used Photoshop tools to colour everything living object in this scene and to give this interesting effect.

Hope you like it.
