Artist's Description

after a couple of days of rain and bad weather, this last weekend really brought some great weather.

on Saturday I decided to ride up to the Zugspitze summit, as the weather offered amazing clear views.

in the foreground to the left you can see the Zugspitze, Germany’s highest mountain with 2.962m

In the background (behind the so called Wettersteingebirge) you take a look into Austria and the Austrian Alps – the valley you can see is the Inntal, the valley where Innsbruck (some 70km away) is located.

You also get a very good look at the Oetztaler Alps (background right) – a mountainrange with the most mountains higher than 3.000m in the Eastern Alps.
