Seriously interested in that camera
Street performer – living statue ‘the photographer’ in action…
The official opening ceremony of the Liberation Memorial Day of the Netherlands (May 5, 1945) this year took place in the Province North Brabant.
Mr.Joachim Gauck, the new German president, was invited to make the opening speech, in the presence of His Royal Highness Crown Prins Willem Alexander of the Netherlands, demissionary Prime Minister Mark Rutte, and many other prominents and invited guests.
My photo-reportage of the official part of this celebration can be seen at <a href="http://www.demotix.com/news/1178714/mr-joachim-...">Demotix</a>
Before, during and after the exclusive official ceremony, there were lots of cultural activities, performances and events open for the general public. My “Liberation Day Celebrations – Breda” photo’s shown here give an impression of the public events – sadly: mainly in the rain…
