Artist's Description

The docks in Liverpool, played a vital role in the transportation of goods (such as cotton) around Great Britain and the rest of the world, during the industrial revolution. In the background you will spot the ‘Great Western Railway’ where goods would be loaded on and off from the ships and onto the trains, heading to other British towns and cities, such as Manchester, Bolton and Leeds.

Taken in RAW and in Manual mode with a Nikon D300s and a Nikon 24/85 lens, set at a focal length of 32mm. Other settings include an ISO value of 200, F13 and a shutter speed of 1/60th sec.
