Artist's Description

Originally opened in 1853 by Sir Titus Salt, for the use of textiles. After a time of standing empty, it was re-opened in 1987 by Jonathan Silver and is now home to shops, cafes, antiques and the 1853 art gallery, showing the largest collection of ‘David Hockney’ paintings in the UK. Salts Mill and Saltaire (located near Keighley, west Yorkshire) is also a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Taken In RAW and in manual mode with a Nikos D300s and a Sigma 10-20 wide-angle lens, set to a focal length of 11.5mm. Other settings include an ISO value of 200, F8 and a shutter speed of 1/30th sec. Post processed in Adobe RAW and CC.
