Artist's Description

Portrait of a pronghorn (Antilocapra americana) in the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone National Park. The pronghorn is generally accepted to be the fastest land mammal in North America. This one was moving slowly. :-)
Upon entering the area, there were so many diverse animals, I remarked that the Lamar Valley was “Like Eden”. It’s obvious why the Lamar Valley has been called the Serengeti of North America.
