“A man is a success if he gets up in the morning & gets to bed at night, & in between does what he wants to do”
Bob Dylan (1935 to present)

Every time I’m either with my family or friends, or here, I feel like a success…

I got my first decent digital camera circa 2003. However May 2005 was when this near obsession with the captured image really started for me, when I opened a flickr account, (is it OK to say that here?). It must be, I just did…

Sam Beckett put it better than I ever could…

Ever tried? Ever failed? No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better.

Sometimes though, there are those rare & precious moments when you somehow manage to find yourself in the right place at the right time in the right light, with camera in hand, & with the presence of mind to actually (almost) get it right.

Sweet Serendipity…it drives me to strive for perfection. I’ll never attain it, but it’s a singular joy trying…

Unexpected til we came & saw it
Unbelievable as soon as seen
Hit the mark despite not aiming for it
Is’nt that how things have always been?

Bertolt Brecht

I live for those rare moments…wait patiently for them.
