Artist's Description

are unnerving, confusing, and a reflection of my innermost fears and anxieties. They frequently pick up where the last left off, almost like a story line that seems it will never end. Most subjects are my children (usually in the context that they are missing and I can not find them), or me being in a place or situation from which I can not escape. Never any immediate danger or overt violence, but the atmosphere is one where the potential for such is highly probable.

I’ve dreamed this way since childhood; I recall my earliest dream being one of bridges and red skies, dragons, and an inability to save my family. I was five at that time.

Image of bridge, taken by me; photoshop was used for the rest.
