Fear can dominate your soul.
It can tear a deep hole.
If you allow it,
It can be your death song.
This is what happens when your life goes wrong.

I watch as you dig yourself a grave so deep.
And all those promises you made you no longer keep.
The wind past your window turns into a sacred whisper.
And Your fighting off demons your heart tends to lure.

Helplessly I watch as people continue to steal your pride.
I see they don’t give a shit about all the nights you cried.
But I care my friend, and your perception is becoming twisted.
Don’t let fear bring you down when you’re being uplifted.
Now dry those eyes of those painful tears.
Hold that head high,
and I’ll help cleanse your soul of your fears. ©

Artist's Description

Sometimes when we are going through a hard time it is easier to let ourselves fall than to hang on and fight.
I wrote this poem a long time ago. Its about watching someone you care about fall apart right in front of your face but you are basically helpless. The only way to save them is to get them to save themselves.
