Painful Love II

I have felt the darkness,
of your correcting palms,
for so long,
I forget to complain,
so long this loving pain.
I offered my eyes of love,
to take the hurt inside,
I just accepted cracking ribs,
was your only way to confide.

Before tomorrow comes,
another fight I failed to start,
more tears to stain this dress,
for my need to see your heart.

Selfish of me,
to change the dragon,
forgetting to use a shield,
but I remember the kiss,
where in, our love was sealed.

I sour in memories,
that kiss my cheek,
that make me weep,
in all the cruelness in your heart,
it once made me feel good,
that you made me weak.

I only want what you stole,
the love that paints your knuckles,
a promise you couldn’t keep,
maybe the man,
that stood by my side,
not the God who burst my mouth,
in a single well aimed leap.

In all fairness,
you had this coming.
You will reap the sorrow,
of the created.
You will feel,
a woman’s scorn,
baby feel the wounds,
so lovingly torn,
by your blessed hand,
by your righteous mind,
now in the morning,
it will be only death you’ll find.

Sleep tonight,
sleep in all your darkness so tight….
sleep well my little lamb,
sleep well my loving man…..
