Angel on the 13th Floor

I could hear them in my head,
the voice’s of the dead,
the daring off a help-less man,
couldn’t comprehend what he had fed.

Hungery eyes embraced the skies,
cursing Gods and scars of lies,
“Fuck this life, Fuck it all”,
raise the blinds and kiss fall.

Fear must have gripped his heart,
those words he should have ate,
seemed to play on aweing eyes,
as I took the hand of fate.

If there was ever a sence of freedom,
it was that last step on New Years Day,
funny on the 13th floor,
an angel took it all away.

He was never what I imagined,
what an angel’s face would be,
the tempter forced to help,
to be the branch and dawn the tree.

I was never very thankful…
Well, never to his face,
that fat man sure earned his wings,
for saving me a place.

Artist's Description

On New Years Day of 2004 I was half way out a window, when caught by a fat man, who then said “No way, I fucking dare you, you better not, I’ll fall out with you!”
I said “Okay” and took the fall. The fat man must have eat his veggy’s cause he ran and caught me and threw me back through the window, the right way.
I am very grateful to him now, and I do not call him “fat man” in disrespect, I never knew him and he was really fat. He really saved me a place in life, and I am Thankful to him.
