What is a speardog?
The name Speardog comes from an old cartoon character, a dog that’s as long as a spear! The 4 year old kid who drew this dog is now a bit older, a bit taller, and still draws at least as much. But the speardog remains.
Speardog designs offers a collection of various unique works. Combining sense of detail with humor, it has that little twinkle in the eye.

Niina Eveliina Salmelin studied art education at the University of Lapland. Her major was art education, but she took great interest in art, animation and comics. So after receiving her masters degree, she decided to focus just on that. She has an ongoing webcomic called Numb and alongside different comic projects, she’s learning animation, aiming to create something new with every change she gets.
In her style, Niina combines realistic and cartoony, creating expressive characters full of life. Her most used mediums are watercolor, ink and pencil. With all her art, Niina aims to tell a story, let it be a massive storyline within a comic, or a small smile between two individuals.
You can read my Webcomic Numb online!
