unloved

I feel as if my world is barren,
my precious streets gone dim,
the inner parts of the city buzz with out a meaning,
people walking gallantly through the days,
but I am alone in a tounel of confusion,
even when I set my fears aside,
I still have a burning in my heart,
as if to say that nothing is there,
nobody passes by my street,
knowbody cares,
and the pastel colors in the sky,
they become an overwhelming black,
when everyone leaves my side,
and throws punches at my back,
my world suddenly diminishes into a void state,
and my dreams and passions are let loose,
deep into the unforgiving night,
I bow my head in a sorrowful surrender,
and I begin to close my weary eyes,
for I am not wanted in this vast world of hatred,
and so I bid a due, to everyone I once loved.

Artist's Description

It explains what many people go through, when they feel unloved. Sometimes they feel unwanted, and like they don’t belong. My poem is a tail of one weary person, who resorts to suicide in order to relieve the pain of rejection.
