Melbourne Victory, North Terreace & Asian Champions League

The Asia Champions League is a competition in the Asian Football Confederation where the league and cup winners from nearly all of the professional leagues throughout the confederation compete to be crowned the best club team in Asia.

Australian teams are new to this league, with Melbourne Victory & Adelaide United representing Australia in this, Australia’s 2nd year of entering this competition.

The North Terrace is the collective term for a section of Active Support at Melbourne Victory games. The North Terrace is made up of different groups, and a lot of individuals who sing, link arms and jump and attempt to create an atmosphere to lift the team, break the opposition, and show that Melbourne supporters are the best in the country.

On Wednesday i was granted permission from Australia’s AFC representative to enter the playing field of Melbourne’s Telstra Dome pre-game to take photographs of the North Terrace, for our own use and purposes.

Being on the field, at such an amazing moment for Melbourne and football (soccer) in this state was a fantastic experience.

These photos were to be for private use only, but i have decided to share these two as i would dearly love comments, both positive and negative, as should i ever get this opportunity again, i was like to make the most of it.

Thanks for looking
