Artist's Description

The massive high domed Pennsylvania State Capitol Building in Harrisburg. The Capitol is the highest structure in the city and is also one of the highest domed capitols in the country. The inspiration of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome can be seen as one eyes the green capped dome. The complex is the center of the government of Pennsylvania’s activity and is a most foreboding awe inspiring architectural gem of the Keystone State. It was finished in 1906.
