Artist's Description

As I travel around this great country of ours and see so many wonderful places and facades, I am over come with how much this country has accomplished in a relatively short span. i love traveling and seeing what other cities, towns and neighborhoods in America are like. Most importantly, traveling makes you appreciate and understand your own city more. More the half of the United States citizenry lives in urban or metro areas. We are no longer agrarian in nature anymore. Not that farming or live stock raising is not important, we are just not farmers in a large regard or populous in modern times.
A prime example of this growing urban and metro powerhouse core is the city of Cleveland. Many in modern times have argued that Cleveland is a dying city.
This is irrelevant and belittles the fact as to its importance as a waterway, port, terminus, hub, research center and vital link to business, culture, health care, finance, education and livability. A little known or discussed fact is that Cleveland has a Gross Domestic Product of over $112 Billion annually.
It is in this regard, quite literally, in a league of its own in the state of Ohio economically. Even more fascinating is its position of dominance in this regard as compared to many other top fifty cities in the USA.
Its links to manufacturing (which despite popular conjecture) are still instrumental in providing a standard and quality of life that so many Americans, not just Ohioans, enjoy. This reality can not be mitigated or under estimated.
Furthermore, its ties to: business friendliness, financial security, wealth growth factor, power in efficient products, political ambition, design/development, aviation, higher education, training outlets, trucking industry, shipping institutions, distribution centers, cultural amenities, diversity standards, scientific societies, research markets, health care applications, and strategic location on a major waterway and transportation destination all combine to make it a necessary and continued tool in driving the future of the state of Ohio, the greater American Union, and the world at large.
