Artist's Description
There is a bit of a story behind this toad (or is it a frog?). For four years I have been attempting to encourage frogs and toads into my pond by purchasing tadpoles each spring to no avail! Finally, just a couple of weeks ago, I spotted this little toad sitting on a rock on the ponds edge! I learned that we should let nature take care of itself :)

Good for you! and a nice shot. I live five minutes from the Blue Ridge chian of the Appilations in southern Pa. Snakes,Frogs,Salamanders,Tutrles, you name it, a shotrt walk can usualy find it. I also visit zoos alot.

What a cute little guy! I believe he is a frog, although I’m unsure of the species (perhaps a northern leopard frog or a green frog?). Thanks for adding this shot to the Reptiles and Amphibians group. It makes a wonderful addition to the gallery!
