Artist's Description

Taken with a Nikon D800 and a Nikkor 24-70mm Lens. Antelope Canyon, Arizona, USA

The light beams of Antelope Canyon are a wonderful sight. In some of the larger chamber you get one large lightbeam but in some of the “corridors” you also come across smaller multiple beams sneaking down through the curving rock above.

Its a tight space to make the shot, the tripod has to be closed up some to fit, there are people coming up behind you and the sunbeams can be fleeting and not last long. Wonderful moments :-)

Below are more shots from the Arizona trip. As you can see from the titles the weather wasnt ideal. So I didnt get some of the standard shots of the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley at Sunset and Sunrise but I did get some quite different shots :-)
