I was in the city in afternoon and decided to stay to get a couple of night shots before I left. So I got the subway over to Brooklyn and got some shots between the Manhattan Bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge looking back over at Manhattan as night descended.

Web sized viewing cannot do this image justice… the full sized image is a panoramic stich from 8 shots and is around 14,000 by 4,000 pixels. I made several panoramic sets from a couple of different spots as the darkness and mist descended and it started to drizzle with rain, the largest was approx 20k pixels by 5k pixels.

Taken with a Canon 550d and a Canon 17-40L lens on a Manfrotto tripod.
