Mother Nature Falls In Love

Fireflies dancing on Degas ballerinas
Swirling, lighting, touching, igniting
A crystal glass floor stretching far beyond the door
At its edge the stars and planets weep no more
Music seeps into every pore
Wounds are healed and body pure
Spherical dizzying eyes that sparkle brighter than an apocalypse
A soul transparent and liquid forming smiling
Agreeing, beguiling
Green sodden growth everywhere
Trees beyond the atmosphere
Torrential rains crafting flowers
Desert furnace cooled by showers
Water giggling and rushing to every hollow
Children in their millions follow
Farmers rejoice
So loud their voice
Strangers touching melt together
Dressed only in a single feather
Sumptuous fruits where elders walk
Forests alive resembling Jack and the Beanstalk
‘Lions and tigers and bears’ and all creatures rare
Returned once again for us to take care
Gold and diamonds washed into shore
Nemo found and corals restored
Food to go around no longer starving
Where love is fair and not war
Sleeping beauty awakes the planet
Sealing cracks and stuffing ice along its core
seeing,
hearing,
touching,
tasting,
smelling
We know the earth again
And she becomes once more our friend
Peace in each converted world wide
We sigh, she sighs
And as one embrace the place we were born
Returned to us no longer torn
All that we have consumed with greed
Starts again, a brand new seed
And this will be no Fairy Tale you’ll see
For this love has brung itself to me

Artist's Description

Do you ever feel that you have just woken up, that you can see things like never before and appreciate every wonderful thing on the planet, the look and smell of sumptuous food, friends, strangers, sounds, beauty, or seeing beauty in everything……….. that your senses have been turned on again?

I for one have become more humble, and ever grateful since a bad, bad, year for everyone, many still suffering and in pain………

Greed simply destroys our earth, and I no longer greedy, learning to love and protect its many gifts again.
