A Decade That's Done its Dash

To all those who I have embraced in Cyberspace, thank you so much, I feel that I am taking you all into the next year with me.

You have caused emotions to errupt in me, tears, laughter, sadness, lumps in the thoat etc, and we have not even spoken!!!!

The sharing, the caring, the responses the stuff that people have opened up and laid bare their souls for me and this community to see is touching beyond words and pictures. I have whizzed all around the world even back to my beloved home town of Derry, without even getting on a Ferry!!

2009 has seen the world change profoundly with war, and fires, and earthquakes and floods, and the awesome election of the most significant man in history, Barrack Obama. He wil make this world a better place, while the rest of us learn through the GFC what wealth really means, what cost happiness and that human beings are more important than greed as we enter a new Decade.

The past ten years have probably been the toughest of my life, with more loss, radical change and self examination than in any previous decade. I am afforded the luxury of reflection. However, something brought me back to creativity, long since forgotten, my journals and notebooks old, mouldy and the pages rotten. Scribblings from 1983, doesn’t even feel like me!

Thank you for taking me when I knocked at the door. I hope that I have given back a teensie weensie bit of what you have all given me.

One day we may have a great big Red Bubble Party, how good would that be.

Happy New Year everyone from Sydney, Australia, we are the first cab off the rank, no doubt you will watch our Fireworks on the news at some point.

Thank you all so much. I look forward to a year of growing and showing together xxx
