American Ignorance

It all started years ago. There was an age of slavery. It’s what this country was based on. This Was far from a show. Some have done rein acting performances; this was all a part of American Ignorance.
You see it every day. You see it every time you get paid. A man is elected into an office, promising justice, bringing Chaos to our country. We sit here with hopes of empty promises. Meanwhile your empty services! Blowing shit up with hand held devises. We hold your words with such ‘importance. This is what others look at as American Ignorance.
Taking innocent lives, Brings mothers so much fright, making widows out of wives. People call it urban life. I refuse to accept that excuse. Guns lay on the dinner tables next to the knife. You may think there’s nothing we can do, an opinion you hold on to. I think it’s just American Ignorance.
The U.S. acknowledges the Holocaust, yet refuses to accept the Armenian Genocide, There’s so much we learned in School. Nothing about 90% of the world’s population wiped out! We only learned of what the Government approved, IT leaves me lost, how can they hide? Leave us looking like a fool. How can you have doubt? This is American Ignorance.
He’s too lazy to work. He stands on a busy intersection, holding a sign, faking a limp. But it’s all a Performance. With no intentions To work, Making several hundred off of perception, He thinks he’s a pimp. He portrays American Ignorance.
