Artist's Description

My Girlfriend and I were in New Orleans, La from Oct. 1, 2008- Oct. 08, 2008. It’s a great city. As you’ll see in this series of Pictures. New Orleans has rebuilt a lot, but there is still alot to be rebuilt. They are Kind, generous people, who appreciate our tourism. If you have a chance please go visit soon. They really need our help!

A portion of the proceeds from this picture, will be donated to organizations, in order to help rebuild New Orleans!

This series of Pictures, I took on the Huirricane Katrina Tour, provided by Gray Line Tours. Although what we saw during this tour, was very educational, I would never recommend it! The tour guide was horrible, as were 3 out of 4 other guides, they make you take in too much, in a very short period, and he was a complete idiot. I actually had to call and make a complaint.

Here is where the Levies failed. One of the things that hurt New Orleans so badly, was the Levies Being closed. It caused the city to turn into a big Bowl! So, now water was coming in, and had no place to exit. Since Katrina these pumps were built to Pump the water from one side of this Canal, to the other, so that would never happen again.

This picture is “As Is.” There has been no Modification. This is just as the camera took it!
