Thanks for looking!

I sculpt color! Have painted and sculpted portraiture. I can make reproduction casts in a variety of materials.

Background is animal behavior studies and working in zoos and nature centers as well as in the commercial sign industry. My nature/zoology career started as a vocational hobby and continues presently. Amphibians and reptiles include some new record discoveries over the years resulting from various expeditions.

Working with a team of highly skilled sculptors one of my designs became a monument. An 11 ton stone carving representing a wagon wheel in gigantic form located in Council Grove, Kansas.

Another popular sculpture is a gigantic bronze casting representing the US Infantry Rifle Symbol and Insignia which is located at Wentworth Museum in Lexington , Missouri. This was my idea first and then approved by the architects who designed a building where the bronze is featured at the apex of that building.

Art projects are inspired by personal experiences and impressions of life.

Aspiring to be an illustrator like my mother I became experienced in the arts at an early age. I have had personal contact with several well known and successful artists who have been encouraging.
