Artist's Description

A spread from the altered book I made for mewithoutYou. I illustrated each song from their album “Catch For Us The Foxes”; this is “Paper Hanger”. The lyric illustrated is “and not one motion her gesture could I forget, the prettiest bag lady I ever met, pushing her cart in the rain”. The other featured lyrics are “I was dead then alive, she was like wine turned to water then turned back to wine” and “she watched the day pass, not hour by hour, but pain by pain”
The writing is the Elder Futhark of Norse Runes.
Worked on from 2005 to 2007.
