Lachlan Swamp, Centennial Park, Sydney, Australia.
Trying to get a sense of perspective here is rather difficult, but I like the sense of a massed wooded presence with these beautiful paperbark trees, circumscribed by lush ferny growth.
They are a kind of Malaleuca, therefore related to the Ti or Tea Tree.
This is a city park, albeit a large one, yet in this image and indeed when I was there, I felt something of the sense of primal Australia.
