Emotion

Never crying
Never showing
Any emotion
What the hell’s wrong with your heart?

Other people realise a friend is there
Other people go for help
Other people realise
What you haven’t got time to see

Never crying
Never showing
Any emotion
What the hell’s wrong with your heart?

Don’t you think we want to understand and help you
We’re not acting out of spite
If you push us away now
And won’t come near
Don’t think you’ll get this chance again

Never crying
Never showing
Any emotion
What the hell’s wrong with your heart?

What do you see when you look in a mirror
I look at you and see pain
Don’t you think you show your emotions on the outside?
I can see you’re burning up inside

Never crying
Never showing
Any emotion
What the hell’s wrong with your heart?

Artist's Description

This is another song i wrote, and since i wrote it, it’s sort of started to symbolise someone i was friends with who went through a difficult period at one point. We’re not really friends anymore, although i’m sure she’s insulted by my lack of ability to talk to her, and this isn’t an insult to her. it’s just my song and it’s now hers.
